Which Practice Do You Practice?

Lent, we are reminded on Ash Wednesday in the Call to a Holy Lent, is a season of penitence and fasting. The Book of Common Prayer enjoins us to observe it by self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, and self-denial; and by reading and meditating on God’s holy Word. This Lent, many of us are reading Brian McLaren’s Finding Our Way Again: The Return of the Ancient Practices. These things in the Call to a Holy Lent are some of the ancient practices. Which ones speak to you? Which ones don’t? Tell your fellow travelers a bit about how they strike you. And if you are struggling with one or more of them, let’s struggle together. What do you say?
